This present edition is based on the Gilgit Sanskrit manuscripts (fo. 424-523) and Gnoli’s editio princeps of Saṅghabhedavastu II published in 1978. Different readings are shown in different symbols and are dealt with in the footnotes. There is a concordance of the Chinese translation by Yijing 義.
