„Miṣrī fallāḥ“ – Ägypter, also Bauer
Vorliegende Arbeit untersucht die Autobiographie Ṭifl min al-qarya (Kindheit auf dem Lande, 1946) des ägyptischen Schriftstellers und Denkers Sayyid Quṭb. Dafür setzt Simon Weiser das Werk in seinen literatur-historischen Kontext und zeigt, dass das Dorf eine nationale Identität symbolisiert.
