As a trading city, Bremen has been associated with the topic of colonialism for centuries. What effects can be seen in Bremen today? Bremen residents – especially BIPoC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) – have submitted their analyses, their experiences of racism, but also of self-empowerment in urban space to an art competition and a literature competition.
